An Autumn Wedding at the Club

Jason and Kelly celebrated their wedding at the beautiful Cavalier Golf & Yacht Club
in Virginia Beach. It was the perfect day…beautiful weather, delicious food and drinks,
all with great family and friends!

We had the pleasure of working with the bride & groom in creating the printed
elements for their day. Each piece expressed their classic style, while complimenting
the autumn hues of the season.

(Elements included: Save the Date Postcards, Formal Invitations,
Programs, Escort Cards, Table Cards, and Candy Labels)

Why wedding dresses are white?

Interesting article on yahoo.com....all thanks to a little smart thinking by Queen Victoria!

The Queen chose white not because it symbolized purity, but because she wanted to show her people that she would run the country in an economical way. White was a much less expensive color to make than the colors typically popular for wedding dresses at the time (red, black, and purple). Plus, it gave her the option of using some lace that she already owned, rather than having something specially made.

So basically, the white dress was originally a political move. Interesting!

Bethany House Fundraiser Wine Tasting & Auction

Bethany House Services recently invited us to donate a table at their 2010 "Tour of Spain" Wine Tasting. We were so excited to be a part of such a great cause.

The event was held at the beautiful Peterloon Estate in Indian Hill. Our dessert table was themed to compliment the rich flavors of the flowing wine, with a little bit of whimsy and fun! Let us know what you think!

What a pretty night!
